Whiskey Bear Closing Its Summit Location, Moving To Beaumont Area

Whiskey Bear, a neighborhood bar and bottle shop, will close its Summit location on Sunday, October 3rd.

Whiskey Bear opened its doors in September 2017 as one of the seven tenants under the umbrella of The Barn, Kentucky’s first food hall in The Summit at Fritz Farm. “As the only
alcoholic beverage purveyor for the food hall, our original concept was developed as a full-service bar and bottle shop,” states Daniel Marlowe, owner and operator of Whiskey Bear.
Florence Marlowe, his wife and business partner, adds that “after having successfully navigated the challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic presented for our industry and with the closure of all the other businesses in The Barn in April 2020, we are looking forward to relocating and expanding.”

The new location will be at 3195 Beaumont Center Circle, with a grand re-opening slated for early 2022.
