For quite a few months the new hotel called The Origin has been under construction at The Summit at Fritz Farm. When will it open? What can guests expect from this hotel?
The Origin Hotel is a boutique hotel form the Origin Hotel Group and is located behind Shake Shack and the former Ted’s Montana Grill. It is expected to have 120 rooms and a restaurant called The Still.
The restaurant will be located in the Lobby, but will also have a street entrance for those just wanting to dine. It is also expected to accommodate a 30 person party in their private dinning room.
The focus of each Origin hotel is to develop a local experience for guests so they can discover the city they are visiting. The group also incentivize their employees so they can discover their city and be able to give the best recommendations for each guest.
“We carefully select sites in communities that have energy and activity,” said Walker Thrash, partner at The Thrash Group, in the release. “The Summit at Fritz Farm fits that perfectly. Our guests want to explore local favorites and enjoy the uniqueness of every place they visit.”
Another unique experience guests will be able to participate in is the availability of a yoga kit. Guests can have their own yoga session in their room with essentials provided.
The hotel is hosting a job fair on Wednesday, May 15 on The Green at The Summit from 11 am until 3 pm. Positions range from full – and part-time hourly jobs which include guest ambassadors, bartenders, management roles such as assistant general manager and catering sales manager.
The Origin Hotel and restaurant The Still are set to open in the summer of this year and are already taking reservations.
