Artique Gallery has decided to leave its Lexington Green Mall location for another mall. Where are they moving? When will they be open?

Since 1996, Artique Gallery has been a staple at Lexington Green Mall. For quite a few years, it has been the first thing shoppers see when going to Joseph-Beth Booksellers.

After 23 years in its location, it has decided to move to the other side of Reynolds Road and set-up shop in Fayette Mall. Their store is going to be located in the middle entrance that is facing Nicholasville Road next to Eddie Bauer.

When trying to decide where to open up their new location, owners Jaime and C.W. Hurt wanted a location where there was plenty of parking and in close proximity to dining options.

The owners have enjoyed their time at Lexington Green Mall, but felt it was time for an update. “Artique is such a vibrant and happy place and our new location has that same great energy,” Hurt said in a statement. “We’re excited to move to a modern space that will beautifully showcase the work of the artists we represent. Looking to the future, we’re planning more cooperative projects and engaging the community creatively. We’re excited to reach new people and share what Artique is about.”

Their current location will remain open until May 25 and their Fayette Mall store is projected to be ready by early June.
